When a commercial system trips, sparks a fault or is damaged by a storm, it needs a fast, safe response. PPA Funding does not attend faults itself; we connect you with specialists who offer emergency solar callouts, and pass on your urgent enquiry so they can respond and quote.
When a solar fault is urgent
Some solar problems can wait for the next service visit; others cannot. A burning smell, scorched cabling, a repeated trip that keeps knocking out power, water ingress into an inverter, or storm damage that has left panels loose on a roof all need dealing with quickly. These are safety issues as much as generation issues.
A system throwing a fault may also have shut itself down, so every hour it is off is generation and revenue lost. Getting a competent person to it quickly limits both the risk and the downtime.
What an emergency callout involves
A provider attending an urgent fault will make the system safe first, isolating it so there is no live risk to people or the building. They then diagnose the fault, carry out or plan the repair, and advise whether the system can safely go back on. Storm damage may also need the roof and any loose equipment made safe before repairs proper begin.
Because the cause is not always obvious, an emergency visit is often about making things safe and stable first, with any larger repair quoted once the fault is understood.
