Why vegetation control matters on a ground-mounted array
Grass and weeds that grow up into the front of a panel row cast shade across the lowest cells. Because panels are wired in strings, shading a small area can drag down the output of a whole string, not just the shaded module. Left through a full growing season, that adds up to lost generation and lost revenue.
Dense growth also traps moisture against mounting frames and cabling, gives cover to rabbits and rodents that chew DC cables, and makes routine inspection harder. Keeping the ground clear is part of protecting the wider system, not just tidiness.
